Biggest Changes From NaNo Draft
- Book title changed from The Sky Pirate of Fermyri to The Albatross of Fermyri
- Changed Tempest’s name back to Fletcher, which it was in the original plot outline
- Added a prologue and moved The Legend of the Albatross lore to an appendix
- Got rid of Katar’s lisp, which required changing a chunk of his backstory
Next Changes on the Docket
- Riordan needs to come across Salasar swiping Rosy off the Lady Shona instead of showing up after the fact. It’ll make the chase and initial run-in with Fletcher and Katar more interesting, but is going to require a couple chapters to be restructured. I think I may just have Riordan kill him outright not too far from the airship, which would freak Rosy out and give me something to do with Brom other than have Carrigan find him behind a tree. Hmm…
